Are you facing the challenging and often confusing murky middle of divorce? Whether you're grappling with the emotional turmoil of your decision, navigating new relationships, coping with the complexities of co-parenting, or feeling paralyzed by post-divorce decisions, you're not alone. In fact, we all encounter what psychologist Christopher Germer calls the "disillusionment" phase during significant life changes, be it due to grief or growth.
During this time, it's easy to believe that you'll never feel better. This murky middle stage is a common thread in many divorce experiences, and it's normal to cycle through it multiple times throughout the divorce and rebuilding process. But there's good news – self-compassion can guide you through this period, helping you emerge from the murky middle with less pain.
Join us as we come together in this Queer Divorce Club Gathering to support one another during this challenging time. Sharing our stories and acknowledging our shared humanity can foster a sense of interconnectedness, alleviating the isolation that often accompanies suffering.
The Queer Divorce Club is an inclusive, judgment-free space where everyone belongs, regardless of the reasons behind their divorce. We'll begin with the first 15 minutes dedicated to setting ground rules and discussing how we can best support each other, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.
Don't miss this opportunity to connect with others who understand what you're going through. Let's navigate the murky middle together and embrace our evolving selves with compassion and community.
Cost is $15/person to cover the cost of the platform for participants.
